Everything needed to write about Time to Kill.
In one line
Four outdoor instructors, one missing woman and a secret under a Highland hillside: a debut thriller from James Stuart.
The book
Time to Kill is the first of The Off Season Adventures. When a barmaid in a Highland pub vanishes, four friends who guide kayaking trips for a living have no official help and nobody they can trust. Their only advantage is a decade of climbing, paddling and caving together, and the nerve to use it. It is written for readers of Lee Child, Clive Cussler and Wilbur Smith.
The author
James Stuart ran an outdoor activity centre in Wales, has paddled extensively around the UK and has climbed and mountaineered around the world. Time to Kill is his first novel.
