Who this covers
This policy explains how James Stuart (the "author") handles personal information collected through this website.
What is collected
The only personal information collected is the email address you give when you join the mailing list, and anything you choose to include if you email the author. This site does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics.
Why it is collected
Your email address is used to send you the free prequel, news about books and occasional updates. We only do this because you have agreed to it. You can withdraw that agreement at any time.
Who else sees it
A third-party email service stores your address and sends the emails on the author's behalf. Your information is not sold or shared for advertising.
How long it is kept
Your address is kept until you unsubscribe, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information held about you, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to the address on the contact page, once it is published.
